The charming Artola Golf Hotel was previously a coach inn used as a stop by turn of the century merchants with horse-drawn carraiges on their way to the lands of Cadiz, Algeciras and Gibraltar. The building was converted into a hotel in 1954 and, although it has been refurbished on various occasions, it still maintains its' original Andalusian design with typically whitewashed walls with a stucco wood facade under a terra-cota tiled roof. The hotel is set within beautiful gardens and features a quaint Andalusian porch which leads into an interior patio. The interior decoration of the public areas and bedrooms retains the traditional local style with modern comforts including a large outdoor swimming pool with sunbeds, a cafe/bar, restaurant, lounge, internet access and a 9 hole par 3 golf course.

Situated close to the Cabopino port and beach area, the local beach at Cabopino is 800 metres away with direct access from the hotel. There are various 18 hole golf courses in the area and the central area of Marbella & Puerto Banus is located 12km away.
